She was everybody's star
Until she fell from the sky
How quickly her light faded then
A reminiscent sparkle in the eye
O' once they held her in glory
Looked to her with love and pride
Caught in her downward spiral
There was no one at her side
They spoke of wishes and sweet dream
She bore their confessions and more
O' she longs to be everybody's star
To go back to the love known before
