What I Am

I try to be the best I can
But you must forgive me, I am a man
I do stupid things
That to you have no meanings
I say words of hurt
That sometimes mean not to blurt
I am a friend to those whom trust
Without that it'll just bust
But even to those whom I love
I can throw a curve ball in that glove
I've been known to switch moods
Sorry to you it's no good
I may make you mad
But most the time I hope it's glad
I am a man that just wants to live
And this cold heart; affection cannot always give
So you must take me for what I am
A man whom is trying to be the best for what I am
I try to be strong so I don't get harmed
And you take it as me being mean, don't be alarmed
You should know now
That I'd give you my all; That's my vow
Death does not scare me
So I'll take it from you; yea that's me
So please my friends and family
Listen to a cry; my legendary plea
Stand with me through all my phases
And I'll try to give you everything in my good graces
