I Am For Peace
I just wish there was a peaceful way to resolve all matters big and small.It doesn't seem possible though.
This poem was formed from tears of my heart.

I am for Peace
Gathering up to speed
To prosper from a wicked deed
How many souls will cry over there?
Wounded and left in desperate need
We watch in horror, while they bleed
Why is it we can only stare?
The fuels of war start on lies and greed
Fuels that take control in order to succeed
Innocent lives taken; unjust and unfair.
Will you join me now in a new creed?
Since you have now taken the time to read
You can bring this plea to action and prayer.
Help me to plant a rare precious seed
Peace, once planted, can amazingly feed
Troubled lands needing mercy and care.
