I commune with your body
I write poems to your soul
I tickle your senses
Until your mind must roll

Over having me always
More than for a few hours
To have these eyes not afraid
To look into yours and see love's powers

That's what keeps me diverting my looks
I don't want to look too much
Because your love is pain
When you leave me after we touch

It hurts my face
My stinging eyes
There's a lump in my throat
My chest does rise

And I can't get air
It's hard to breathe
I just keep crying
Because you'll always leave

Do I go first
So love isn't pain
Do I run away
Outrun the tears that fall like rain?
