Kindess of Your Heart
How can you say they owe you
When they gave you your life
They may have taken your money
But they have always been by your side
There are children out there
Who have less than you see
No food, no home, no clothing
Not even family
Children who don't know what money looks like
Who can't count on a meal every day
Children who bathe in dirty water
Who can't count on a place to stay
Have you ever wondered
Have you ever stopped to think
what if that was you
How different your life would be
Those children in my eyes are stronger
They have more heart than you
Their dealing with what they've got
Instead of being selfish and rude
If your family needed your money
If they needed you in their time of need
Don't be rude and say they owe you
Do it because their family
Do it out of the kindness of your heart
Do it because you care
Because being selfish and rude
It won't get you anywhere
