Leave Me Be!
I love inside the luscious,
The warmth, the still the free,
Away from all the hindrance
That taunts and teases me!
You bang my heart with horror,
Confusion and dull, frown,
And try to turn and change me
And wash my world all brown!
When I see you coming
My head begins to crash,
You seem to always mix me
And hit me with your slash!
You take away my nonsense
And dictate what I should do.
You dampen all my colour
Just leaving me with blue!
Please let me be my person,
Away from mindless craze,
And let me live in laughter
For the rest of my school days!
Joy Weare.
