 "her path to integrity"

"the sun, now her crown"

ornamental jewelry,
he loans nightly,
twinkles against
the ebony backdrop
of his symphony,
she arches like
the crescent moon
drawn across the bow
of his night. her
twinklings dance
only for him as
she shimmers
in all her glory:
his first violin
of the dark.

dark unheard music
pierces the night
like the howl of the beast
sears a seam along
the edge of night
calling, calling
as you howl to me
in the darkest of ebonies.
the arch bends
to your touch like
the moon's cup rises
and opens displaying
her filling chalice.
her twinklings bow
before cool breezes
and just then
one could witness
the spill of the goblet.

midnight rain
falls upon brown earth
as the threads of light
thread amongst the black
like a mask, the dawn
wraps around her face.
her ebony slowly
slips into daylight.
his magical touch
causes the display
of his majesty,
all asunder kneel
before him as the sky
explodes into a blaze
of fiery colours
igniting her ebony dress.
he removes her jewels
and like a phoenix,
she rises into a war of colours.
the sun, now her crown.~
