Hate Hurts! Why and how can someone you love; Hate you with a passion so strong? Speak of vile things about you, And say things, oh, so wrong! How can it be that you can be hurt so much? By the son of a mother, true, Who's aggressive, he hates you, abhors you! And causes a hurt that crucifies you! How can a son so hate with a vengeance, His mother who has done no harm, What can she do, oh how does she deal, With something that causes alarm. Why and how can someone you love, Turn into a monster true? Be full of bitterness, and so much hate, And there's nothing you can or did do! Hate hurts, oh but it really does, Especially when there's no reason why, And all it does is hurt that heart, And makes her cry and cry… So she has to turn away from hate, And leave him to find his way in life, No more the victim, she's now the survivor, For she walked away from all that strife! How can a child hate a parent so much? When the siblings are truly great! How can it be that she birthed them all? And birthed a son who was born to hate! So I guess it's simply time to walk away, From the hatred he holds so strong, Towards a mother who gave her best, To a mother who did no wrong. …Because Hate Hurts… And It's Oh, So Sad!
