Washing Up!
~THE SIG BOX~ I wrote this because I was fed up with my teenage sons not washing up and leaving a terrible mess in the kitchen.
Please wash your crockery, knives and forks,
It isn't a hard thing to do.
Then dry them up and put them away,
I guess you could do that too!
Pots, pans and casseroles, they come next;
But this is a sterner test!
Men of mettle have tried and failed,
despite doing their very best.
Steep these in water straight away,
It makes them easier to clean.
Scrub them with vigour and rub very hard,
they're sometimes terribly mean.
I'm not very popular that's for sure
By setting this harder task.
But given there's nothing else you do,
It isn't a lot to ask.
