Combating EvilMark 7:14-23 Give an ear so that my words are clear, Nothing eaten by a man can defile him; But what comes out that you should fear, So evil as to make things bleak and grim. Are you so na?e and no comprehension? You do not have any wisdom to perceive; Each time you stray you make a decision, And that could be causing you to deceive. As food enters it does not go to the heart, Rather goes into the stomach for to digest; After it has turned into waste it'll depart, While vitamins and minerals you ingest. What you see and hear enters the mind. Some of which your heart will engrave; Unless God helps you keep it confined, For evil thoughts will make you a slave. All of these evil things that enter within, Each time that they are seen and heard; But one sure way to counteract the sin, Is to pray to God and read His Holy Word.
