The Green Men!

Two strange looking men
With big bulging eyes
Hopped around the girls
Trying to look wise!

They shone in the sun
With an odd sort of sheen
And were kind of warty
And looked kinda green!

Kiss us, kiss us,
Oh kiss us please,
They begged the girls
On bended knees.

Michelle kept swinging
High and low,
And wished those ugly
Men would go!

Next Katydid
Had a lingered look,
But she felt so sick
Her stomach shook!

Jody tried her best
To give a smile,
At these two green men
With faces vile!

Joy held her nose
And heaved in pain,
As the two green men
Tried in vain!

Kiss us, kiss us,
Together they cried
But got no response
So they simply sighed!

The two green men
Sat on a log,
Then slowly turned
Back into a frog!

Kiss us, kiss us
Together they croaked,
The girls laughed so much
They almost choked!

The four pretty girls
Played on the swing,
And wondered what next
Their day would bring!

Joy Weare.
23rd August, 2005.

This is just a little bit of light hearted
tease and nonsense Cliff and Marvin.
You can croak as much as you like,
but we will never kiss you into the
perfection you long for!
