As I awaken to a brand new day,

I thank thee for the air I breath.

O Lord, grant me peace to fill my heart,

Along with my world and universe.

Lead me from despair to hope,

From fear of war to world peace.

Give me strength to bear the pain,

Especially in times of weakness and need.

This, and more, I wish not only upon me,

But all who believe in thee, sweet Lord,

For you are the All Mighty in our souls,

A firm assurance that your will governs all.

I thank thee for hearing my daily prayer,

And for your guidance toward the human race.
