I Shall not Fear II
There is a great serenity that washes over me,
cleansing all trepidition and strife away,
wiping away worries and concerns,
You stand at Heaven's door keeping watch over me,
guiding my footsteps with the light of Your presence.
I shall not fear the pratfalls and snares I encounter,
because I know that You are there,
like a sentry upon the hill You keep a dilligent watch over my life,
ever there to showering me with Your love,concern and care,
keeping me safely in Your arms.
Where the world gives nothing but grief and strife,
refusing the simplest of comforts,
You my great Lord shower me with comfort and grace,
therefore I shall not fear the path before me.
We must allow God to lead us through life and we shall have no fears.i wrote this durring a very religious time in my life. i have found it to be true..God will be our light and our ever present guide.
