Worlds Apart
You are so close
so why do I feel so alone?
break me off just enough
because that is what I need to get by
you turn and walk away
and I break down and cry
why does this scene play
all the time in my head
cuz doll we are just worlds apart
worlds apart, love the heartbreaking distance
the one powerful kiss
that maybe could fix this
keeps disappearing more and more every day
the clock moves
but we just never do
in this relationship
a startling vision, it's all uptight and still
we are now just mannequins
The blame game is always most popular
distance ourselves from the real issues
wish sometimes I had a stop watch
for all this madness to come to a halt
but it just doesn't exist in this universe
cuz deep down, we never want anything to be our fault
we just can't be the cause
me & you are just so stubborn
stagnant with any movement
cuz we seem to be froze in worlds apart
