HE WANTS TO BE FREE

Michael if you want to be free
Then you can't have my fidelity
Because my faithfulness must cry
When you say you're not the guy

To sweep me up off my feet
To help me be happy so depression I beat
To worship have a reason for living
To sleep with until your skin's giving

Me, the unconditional love I long for
When it sees I could be so much more
Than I will ever be now
If a man could understand this somehow

That I only need his touch at night
To reach for him until the sunlight
Fills our room with the white warm
Where that bond saves us from the storm

Of all past, all that's tomorrow
Where it lasts and there's no sorrow
As we are safe in our dreams in our bed
And I can love without these doubts in my head

It's not enough to be your girlfriend
When I want you here at night
Forever I won't pretend
That being faithful to you is right.
