Don't Let Me Go
I swore I'd never return again
To that river that flows from pain
Tried to keep my feet upon the ground
With courage to keep me bound
Yet, I can feel myself slowly going down
In my sorrow I know I shall drown
After all this time I'd thought it passed
Depressions waves come back in at last
Trembling hands still grasp for hope
The lifeline that has helped me cope
Yet hands grow weary from fear and doubt
I need you now to pull me out....
