As the sun falls from the heavens
Her lips give way to a sigh
Knowing that her mind is caught
In thoughts of him tonight
The old porch swing is rocking
Moved only by the breeze
She's lost in future promises
And such sweet memories
She feels just like a school girl
Content to dream her life away
As stars are dancing in the sky
Her heart journeys far away
Perhaps her love is listening
To the wishes that she sends
Dreaming of his girl so fair
In this time when sunlight ends
