Dear John (Candace) we can't go on
This man's leaving and gone
Dear baby can't you see
You can't be all over me

Dear John (Candace) I know you're in pain
Please take my life out of your brain
We can't take it anymore
Being Satan in hell's war

Dear John (Candace) I'm not for you
I'm living with another, it's blue
I know it's hurts into tomorrow
You loving me brings you sorrow

Dear John (Candace) throw me aside
I refuse to take you on that ride
For me I know you'd give up plenty
With all the love you feel for many

Dear John (Candace) I am the one
Your tears for me leave you no fun
While I run on home to live my life
You cry into your pillow like I stabbed you with a knife

Dear John (Candace) don't turn tears to blood
You deserve better then my crud
I am just an insensitive woman-man
Too dense and arrogant to understand

Dear John (Candace) don't let your passion kill
Even though I'm like a woman I can't feel
The intense emotions you have for me
I want to be a wife myself you see

Dear John (Candace) you felt sorry for me
I know for two years I was your fantasy
You thought I was alone and lonely
And with sex you could have me only

Dear John (Candace) don't take my abuse
Forget about me and turn me loose
You've given up on yourself, I am wrong
Inside you are a survivor, Superman strong

Dear John (Candace) we're both ill
Passion for you I can't will
My sex center's shot at 54
The drives not in me anymore

Dear John (Candace) you can plead
As I will stay with my own greed
Too gone to share my life with you
Too lazy to change my attitude too

Dear John (Candace) you gave up men
If you can't have the flirt if their not your friend
John Simonson, Arther Seckman, and Dan Ball
You put me on a pedestal too tall

Dear John (Candace) I'm not your mother
I can't love you unconditionally living with another
You built me up in your hot heart of hearts
A daddy to wipe away the sadness when it starts

Dear John (Candace) from you I flee
Woman-child you somehow must see
This letter you write to yourself from me
Is only how you think it must be

Dear John (Candace) I could get well
Maybe after October I'll be able to tell
If my problem is lack of physical desire
Then a Doctor can fix my fire

Dear John (Candace) don't give up hope
I know I make it hard for you to cope
I try to make my body better
So I can rescind this Dear John letter

Dear John (Candace) hold out for the hormones
They might take me to the lover's zones
Of lust jealously sadness elation
Where I'll fight for you to be my relation

Dear John (Candace) give us the fall
See if you can slowly stall
Mailing yourself this Dear John (Candace) letter
Give us another chance to get it better.
