 Ride of the Moon

Deep into the starry night he rides alone,
slipping through the silvery clouds,
gliding over the the dark and weary land,
upon his pale horse he rides,
turning all he passes into a shadowy maze,
as ever the moon restlessly crosses through the night.

My tribute to the moon which gives us its rich cool light. One of several poems that I wrote about nature.
