Down With That

A poem from the novel
"The Essence of Poetry II:Gerald's Sophomore Yet Grown Poetrybook"
Written by: Gerald L. Ingraham

---------------------------------

Baby, I can no longer undress with my eyes,
In the back of my mind, all kissing your cries;
Somewhere I had let this urge come to be,
And it is really turning to be too strong for me;
I would like to make this fantasy of mine real,
As I really have your body with mine to feel…

If you're down with that,
Then, I'm down for whatever;
You're down, then holler back,
And maybe we can go down together.

I've been waiting for the right time to do you,
So the time is right, let me get through to you;
It's denying that the mood is all set,
Come over here to me to receive your merit;
I have this whipped cream all ready to drip,
And I need a strawberry from my lip to your lip…

If you're down with that,
Then, I'm down for whatever;
You're down, then holler back,
And maybe we can go down together.

It's a proven fact that no man does it like this,
Only I can put it on you with something to miss;
I want you so bad and you already know it,
Now, key is me to find good manner to show it;
And why not with a kiss and caressing so tender,
That even hard to get you would just surrender…

If you're down with that,
Then, I'm down for whatever;
You're down, then holler back,
And maybe we can go down together.
