The Sensitive Side of This ManA poem from the novel "The Essence of Poetry II:Gerald's Sophomore Yet Grown Poetrybook" Written by: Gerald L. Ingraham ----------------------------------------------------------------- I had buried my own sensitive side, Due to the hurt, I learned to hide, But I found one with whom to confide, I looked forward, saw her, and lied. ..because she is you. I was selfish very much so, And I ran from what I know; After one hurt me not long ago, I am over it by a love and to show. ...because it you. Thank you for helping me find, The sensitive side of this man When I doubted with all my mind, You believed with your heart you can. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
