The Night's Breeze
It's about one in the morning
I'm enjoying the cool breeze,
After the heat of the day
It puts my soul at ease.
The tail end of Katrina
Made it rain for the past three days,
I hope to see the sun soon
It just might be today.
The night's breeze is strong
As it blows through the window,
It is better than putting up with the heat
Cooling things down, as it goes.
