Merciful Lord, Forgive!!!
A "Warm-N-Cozy" Greeting
The news this morning is still not good.
My heart cries out for all these displaced
people~~~~~~~
All I can do is pray..........
And write~~~~~~~
Merciful Lord, Forgive
Our refuge through the storms of life,
Merciful Lord, forgive.
Prostrate we fall down at your feet,
Merciful Lord, forgive.
Four days of basics; we've been denied,
As death draws near us, Lord, we cried.
What lessons must we learn to be
More acceptable unto Thee?
Throughout the night, in darkness deep,
While lawless all around us creep,
With sinfulness, they defy
Your laws of Love: they mortify.
Our refuge through the storms of life,
Merciful Lord, forgive.
Prostrate we fall down at your feet,
Merciful Lord, forgive.
Forgive our arrogance, our pride,
Our lies, our self-deceit, we hide
Behind our hypocrisy and gloat~~~
The sin our Father hates the most.
On our Nation's knees; we humbly bow,
With prayer, and supplication we offer now
To worship You, to hear Your Call
Correct our errors, one and all.
Our refuge through the storms of life,
Merciful Lord, forgive.
Prostrate we fall down at your feet,
Merciful Lord, forgive.
