If Tomorrow Never Comes
If tomorrow never comes,
happily will I go into the depths of eternity,
having known your sweet love,
for my life you greatly changed,
turned my losses into gains.
If tomorrow never comes,
I shall end my existence knowing that my heart was renewed,
my soul rejuvinated by your gentle love,
for you gave me hope for the future no matter what it may hold.
If tomorrow never comes I shall quietly without struggle,
because all my hopes and dreams were brought to life in you,
and my life was enriched by all that you gave to me,
my pain you lessened my fears assuaged,
and my life made worth living because of your faith in me.
If tomorrow never comes,
I shall go knowing my love was returned in full to me,
and that my life meant something,
and that this empty vessel was filled with love and joy.
So if this night if tomorrow should not come for me,
I shall go with a happy heart and a faithful soul,
because of all that you meant to me.
