 London in the rain

I love London in the Rain
The overcast skies reflects my pain
As I walk down the embankment
I feel the cities excitement
I am a Tourist in my own city
Is what I think, as the rain washes away my pity

I love London in the rain
Everyday here is never the same
The shadows of the gothic architecture
And the hidden meanings of every feature
Remind me of my own hidden meanings
A Londoner who has feelings

I love London in the rain
I willingly play along with its game
Every corner has something new
As I see through the grey skies a glimpse of blue
A smile comes across my face
London in the rain, I love this place
