Autumn
Autumn casts its powerful spell over the land,
exciting the hearts of men on chilly mornings,
bringing warmth to the soul,
building anticipation for what is to come.
Autumn magically turns the leaves from green,
to yellow,red,orange and gold,
a cool chill spreads through the air,
refreshing everything in sight,
clear night skies tell of harvest time,
and the pale full moon reminds children,
that Halloween will be here soon.
Autumn's sweet night's give the pumpkins in the field
a light glittery glaze,
the stars shine down so clearly upon the land,
and all is well across the land.
