In The SandBy Cynthia L. B. Bogear The mystic moonlight shimmered in the sand, And glowed upon the sea. The waves crashed against the cliffs, As the wind whispered through the trees. We laid upon a blanket in the sand, As we fulfilled our every need. Your gentle lips kissing softly, As your hands rubbed gently. You whispered words of passion, As I moaned very low. Your arms wrapped around me, As you moved so soft and slow. The night seemed to pass on, As we laid in love in the sand. Our hearts pounding rapidly, As our bodies moved so carefully. Now the summers have past, And you have gone away. But my heart was left holding you close, In the sand that day. Written 05 September 2005 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
