brothers and sisters
in the Christian Inn

its not my imagination
that this nations
in the whole
because whenever
I am alone
God says
Dear Child.."I know"
He knows how much
we are hurting
and he knows
who pays the toll
My heart is swelling up
with tears that overflow
And then I must return
to care for those I love
Its so hard to be forgotten
In a land of so much Gold
And those floods that broke
for those I choke
mothers with their children
and men who think they know
preachers who preach love
yet allow the poor to fold
Helpless and frightened
reaching up for God
I know how to survive
My walk with Jesus
Inside my faith grows bold
The days go by so fast
while letting go of what is past
My friends I'd hold your hand
If it were enough to heal your land
hear....."I am"
and let
