Sorry you are going so far.
When you reach that distant land
Reach out and feel me touch your hand.
Feel my heart reach out and say
I will miss you every day.
But my thoughts can travel too
And they`ll wing their way to you.
You will know `though far away
In my heart you`ll always stay.
God gave you the chance to be
Far across the wide blue sea
Take His gift and live it well
Darling girl the truth to tell
I would take the chances too
I am glad He gave to you.
All the world to be your own
Even `though you`re far from home
Distance darling in the heart
Means we`ll never really part.
