Don't Tell Me
Don't hurt me not again
Don't tell me these words
Don't reveal your dirty deeds
let me be totally happy and blind to see
Don't put this noose around my neck
Don't let me go of all that I thought
was your progress and good intentions
Don't punch me in the heart
Don't you dare say it's okay
you know you are the tie that bonds me
Don't force me into this corner
Don't put my faith on the burner
I want to believe you....I really do
so why am I crying? why do these tears taste familiar?
Don't tell me you are a failure
Don't tell me I am your blood line
I already know all these words
cuz I have heard them so many times before
Don't tell me these promises
Don't tell me these problems
cuz I already feel like a victim of robbery
you took this and turned it ugly
I wanted to hold it with love
just don't tell me it's broken
no, no not this time......
