Once Upon A Dream
Once upon a dream
Within a blink of time,
Dainty little words
Waltzed in perfect rhyme!
Twirling and swirling
Inside the poets head,
They gently rolled in rhythm
As she turned in her bed!
She smiled as they tickled
And teased her with a zing.
She woke to gentle bell tones
And the softest little ring!
The words kept on dancing,
So she picked up her pen,
And then within a moment,
She had birthed a poem again!
The poem was so luscious,
It gave the people laughter
It smiled upon it's little page
And lived happily ever after!
Joy Weare.
