Divided DownfallsMatthew 12:22-30 In dealing with Christ no one agreed, If it was for real or just being deceived; Was He really from David and his seed? Or the prince of demons they received? Every nation divided just lies to waste, Since a divided house will never stand; As Satan merely casts out Satan in haste, In fighting himself throughout the land. How then will he ever keep a kingdom? In battling to the death and destruction; And knowledge of an earthly wisdom, Filled with some tantalizing seduction. If Christ was Satan and cast demons out, Then the sons and daughters be the judge; For the Kingdom of Heaven be in doubt, And our Lord would be holding a grudge. But if it's the Spirit of God that disposes, The henchmen who belong to Beelzebub; Then the truth in the Word that exposes, Your new home will be with the cherub.
