Abide in Love

John 14:19-24

Christ will not let you be without a friend,
Since He shall constantly be by your side;
And will be with you well beyond the end,
As long as your faith is in and will abide.

The world may not see Him any more,
But you with faith shall see Him clear;
For He will take you through the door,
Living a new life and to be without fear.

Then you know that He is in the Father,
As you will be in Christ as He is in you;
And you will know Him as your Brother,
With beginning your eternal life anew.

He who possess His laws and keeps them,
Also is in possession of the love for Him;
If having no love the Father will condemn,
Living eternity where it will be very grim.

So if you love Christ and keep His Word,
Then the Father will treat you as treasure;
As prayers will be answered as to be heard,
And invite you into Heaven with pleasure.
