Remember the Pictures

The dark has dawned and shining over me,
Shining so bright that i can't remember and see.
I hold on tight i won't let go,
Yet is slips away no more to show.
I fall to my knees, and bury my face in the sand,
Than in front of me he holds out his hand.
He says to me with a sympathetic voice,
The look in his eyes i had no other choice.
"Don't you remember the way it used to be?"
"Hold on to yesterday so tomorrow your heart is free."
The tears fall gently as my vision is not there.
The memories keep slipping, the people I love and care.
He puts in my hand, the visions of my past,
My smile is stunned as I found them at last.
He said "Remember the pictures the way they used to be."
"Remember yesterday so tomorrow your heart is free."
"Look forward to your future, conquer it with might,"
"If you remember the pictures you will never lose your sight."
