Preparing the YoungTitus 2:1-8 Let your words agree with what is taught, In compliance to the Lord right and true; As old men are seriously wise and ought, To be true in faith, love and of good virtue. Teach boys to be wise and of sound mind, And by all means to be serious in behavior; Performing of good deeds and being kind, And professing about our Lord and Savior. While old women be respectful and refine, Of good behavior and not thinking of evil; Professing of good and not drinking wine, Also in avoiding temptations of the devil. She trains girls in how to love her family, Ever mindfully wise and of a clean heart; Be submissive to her husband cheerfully, Ensure her children of the Word to impart. It's up to the elders in teaching the young, To speak the truth and say the right words; With praying and praises to God be sung, In preparation for a long journey upwards.
