Awaiting RevelationRomans 8:17-25 How can we compare the pain of today, With the glory we will see in the future? Every living thing is waiting for that day, A Revelation in being a new adventure. For every living thing is under a power, Of transformation though not by choice; That God controls when at a given hour, And true believers will be able to rejoice. A time we overcome the power of death, A time in being free of bondage of earth; A time we breathe of a Heavenly breath, A time when we will know our true worth. We weep now in pain through our sorrow, But we'll see the first fruits of the Spirit; If we have patience to wait for tomorrow, And then see exactly what we will inherit. For our salvation is by hope of the unseen, Merely of things in which we have heard; As a faith guards our heart to remain clean, A faith in the Lord is by hearing His Word.
