Healing Sin

Matthew 9:12-17

Whoever is well has no need for a doc,
Not worried of time and feeling great;
But if sick counting minutes on a clock,
Because of not knowing about your fate.

For in Christ it was the sinners to seek,
In order to make them righteously well;
Giving strength to those that are weak,
Because of the temptations from Hell.

Friends do not morn if the groom is near,
But then have reason if he is taken away;
And unable to eat as holding back a tear,
For not knowing his return on which day.

Just as you do not mix new with old wine,
Or patching what is new with on the old;
Same as going to a fine restaurant to dine,
Then find out you have an empty billfold.

Christ came here for healing the sinner,
To cleanse them not half way but whole;
If accepting Christ you will be a winner,
Also confessing in order to pay your toll.
