 Pages Of A Woman's Soul

As the night prowls the earth
And the twilight shadows fall
Peaceful silence enfolds
All creatures great and small

A warm breeze is blowing
Hints of flowers through the air
Their perfumes fill the senses
On this summer night so fair

Sounds of night are soothing
To all weary mortal souls
Playing a grand concerto
Where each note has its role

The closing of each day
brings Earth a true release
Man's hopes renew that all
These gentle nights will never cease
