She came to life one fine summer day
In Dryad's forest, the legends say.
Born as the wood nymph played on his fife-
One fine summer day, she came to life.
A dear little one, puckish and fair-
The sweet scent of flowers in her hair.
Arms reaching out to embrace the sun-
Puckish and fair-a dear little one.
The princess of dawn-child of a queen.
Delicate creature ne'er to be seen
Till escorted out by Dryad's fawn-
Child of a queen-the princess of dawn.
The babe sleeps on in ignorant bliss-
Childish dreams touched by an angel's kiss.
Fairy down pillow to rest upon-
In ignorant bliss, the babe sleeps on.
Someday to reign o'er all the land-
Hers a great legacy to command.
But for now a life that's still unchained-
O'er all the land, someday to reign.
