A Synthetic Soul

Step Into the Rain

Seeming so untrue, this
fire needs no more fuel.
Wasting nothing more than time.
Faking nothing more than smiles.

So much more in life than this
I'm so much more inside than flesh.
Spilling it all in small little drips,
Flooding your world with each hollow breath.

The rain is coming to meet your face.
To wash the tears and crimson away.
Wash away the emptiness.
Let it cover me, every drop covers me.

Looking strait up into you,
bleeding into my eyes.
And into my tears,
then into a part of me.
Watch me smile.
