I Honor You
I want to sit with you
right here at this pier
talk for hours about really nothing
doesn't matter as long as you are here
I wish for us to grow
to see our footprints in the sand
I know where we have been
hasn't it been so fun?
holding your hand has been like no other
it's electricity plus astonishment
made it past the thorns
wanna lay in these roses with you
dreams I know for certain now do come true
you are what makes my world most happy
I know I am lucky
I can feel God smiling
right now the weight has been lifted
seeing before me the love that was intended
in all it's creation
it's flowing, it's a miracle
so for all my life I gladly without a doubt
will take it.....
treasure the gift that has been given
hold this heart in all it's achievement
you are my love, my miracle, my gift
I honor you in my heart, in my thoughts
through all choices and beyond any doubt.
