My Heart Still Cries
My heart still cries
For those lost four years ago today,
Why did it happen?
Did they really have to go away?
What is this world coming to?
So much hate lives on,
I pray to God
He will bring a new dawn.
So many unanswered questions
Still roam from the families,
They still don't understand
Why their losses had to be.
Their screams and cries
Have been burnt into my memory,
But the souls of their lost loved ones
In God's arms, they forever will be.
