 Rainbows in Water

To See Past The Horizon

A wind blows your hair
the sun gives warmth to days
Those that have past
give shelter in spiritual ways.

They give rain when it is dry
sunshine when it is cold
They guide the birds to sing a song
when life seems to become old

They paint the sky different colors
to raise a smile on your face
They watch your growth through life
and the children that your life has made

Then when their kids sit upon your knee
that special someone remembers it was me
Then your time is night upon a birth that dawns
your passing bring a sorrow and the process still goes on

But when you look around you
the people that have past
Will gather to keep you company
while you guard your loved ones tasks.
