Poems of Love, Inspiration, Heartache and Pain

Not a Man

you're not a man you're a coward
that is what you are
you contributed to his birth
and all of a sudden you treat
him like dirt.

A child is precious a miracle from above
why did God grant you a child if
you're not capable of showing your love?

You're not impressing him with
that little girl.
You're showing him nothing but
heartache in this destructive world.

How can I erase the hate from
my sons eyes
when we as parents can't see eye to eye.
You weren't in his life then
you're not in it now.
The only one suffering is my child.

You say you are a man
that isn't true.
A man takes care of his responsibilities
but not you.

Instead of bettering yourself
you're destroying yourself.
What kind of role model do you think
you would be.
A senseless boy is all I see.
