 Timid Little Squirrel

Timid little squirrel
Comes out of the bush,
Searching for sunflower seeds
Gives a quick look.

It tries to keep safe
Doesn't want to get hurt,
Even squirrels need to be careful
Keep on the alert.

The woods were quiet today
A few people here and there,
Not as busy as usual
Now it can be less scared.
