I Got Pricked

Playing along the beach
Listening to the ocean waves,
Saw roses bushes down the hill
Myself, I couldn't behave.

I walked down the hill
Four different colored roses I saw,
I wasn't going to go without any
I was in total awe.

There were lots of buds
That weren't developed yet,
I have to have me some
This will be a moment, I won't forget.

I started picking them
My fingers kept getting pricked,
This was a battle I was going to win
I wasn't going to get licked.

I took off my jacket
And wrapped it around the bottom,
I pulled and tugged very hard
They smelt nice, oh yeah, I got some.

WARNING:

Never try to pick roses, unless you have a sharp knife or scissors with you. LOL
