Her skin, though lustrous white,
Develops a pallid, yellowish tint,
Avoids sunlight to prevent solar tan,
And yet develops a mahogany tan.
Pigmented palms and soles and knuckles,
Scattered on the face are numerous freckles,
On the tongue, lips and inside of the cheeks,
Bluish black patches or brownish streaks.
Her days of hay,
Do not blossom May,
Her youth's vigour,

From groins and armpit the hair is lost,

Hiccup, yawning, fainting, restlessness,

With brawny looking muscles has progressive weakness.
