Knocking Knees With Immigrants
open the desert's sweet bosom,
and free the wildlife of hell,
cry an anthem for those in pain,
in a free world of buy and sell.
slave for hours, days, weeks, and years,
for a purpose unknown to man,
imagine life without need,
if you can, then i know i can.
question the answers God provides,
in your required prayers,
know things even he doesn't know,
then forget all of your cares.
bring the keys to another's head,
and wonder where the tide comes in,
knocking knees with immigrants,
waiting for them to win.
