Just lyrics to some, my poetry,
These poems mean the world to me,
They're from my life, they're from my heart,
They're my soul's favorite form of art.
If you don't know me, you soon will learn,
I'd die before I watched them burn,
I'd give my life, so my words could live on,
I'd die if some day, I found them gone.
My words are always there for me,
My poetry is my remedy,
My problems are solved, by this pen,
My words are my oxygen.
Like vital organs, my words make my heart beat,
without them, I'd be incomplete,
I give them life, they do the same for me,
It's my friendship with my poetry.
