M's Poetry
A New Day
I am not doing to good without you
and my laughter has subsided
as this situation has descended
see I know this is not who you are
but it is the end results
and my hope is that you hear me
despite the chaos it's faith that I will hold
you can't leave now
let it be written in the stars
that this is just a bump in the road
tomorrow will be the day our luck changes
Getting to the peak of this uphill battle
but promise to not give in
if I won't let go
making your way out of the black hole
see you on the other side
through the woods I know holds daylight
so just stay the course
and I will just stand right here
waiting for the dawn of our new day.
